Xavier’s Helminen-Martine win title at Appleton West Girls Golf Best-Ball Tournament

APPLETON – Xavier’s team of Aliisa Helminen and Molly Martine shot a score of 33 to win the Appleton West Girls Golf Best-Ball Tournament on Friday at Winagamie Golf Course.

The Xavier duo defeated the Appleton North team of Lemire and Tabbert, and Xavier teammates May Shimek and Elizabeth Schubbe, by three strokes to claim the tournament title.

The Appleton West team of Lydia Barry and Anna Blair tied for fourth with a 41.
