Xavier’s Faulkner wins WIAA girls wrestling regional title at Wrightstown

WRIGHTSTOWN – Xavier’s lone girls wrestler Madeline Faulkner won a title at 138 pounds at a WIAA girls wrestling regional at Wrightstown High School on Friday night.

Faulkner (41-9) won the 138-pound championship match with a pin of Sydney Turner of Southern Door in 1:57.

Faulker, along with all those that placed in the top four in each weight class, moves on to a WIAA sectional at Menasha High School on Friday, Feb. 21. The top two in each weight class in the sectional qualify for the 2025 WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison on Feb. 27-March 1.
