Xavier’s Brightman named Bay Conference Boys Basketball Player of the Year

Xavier senior Tyler Brightman was named the Player of the Year and a first-team selection on the 2023-24 All-Bay Conference Boys Basketball Team.
Brightman averaged 14.9 points and 8.1 rebounds per game for Xavier, which won its fourth-straight Bay Conference title.
Joining Brightman on the first team are West De Pere junior Bryce Borowicz, Seymour sophomore Kyler Marks, Shawano junior Logan Sipple and New London senior Jonah Schluetter. Brightman was the lone repeat first-team performer.
Xavier seniors Sam Pfefferle and Hayden Quimby were among the second-team picks, and senior Luke Krull was an honorable mention choice as well for the Hawks.
Pfefferle averaged 10.5 points, 6.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game, while Quimby averaged 11.9 points per game with a team-high 54 3-pointers for Xavier.
