NEW LONDON – New London won five matches by pin and four more by forfeit to defeat Xavier 60-18 in a Bay Conference wrestling dual Thursday night at New London High School.
Xavier won three matches, all by pin.
Christian Rodriguez Salgado (106 pounds), John Faulkner (150) and Quinton Lumsden (157) each won with first-period pins for the Hawks.
Xavier will compete at the Waunakee Invitational on Saturday.
