Xavier volleyball sweeps Shawano to finish Bay Conference regular season at 7-0

SHAWANO – The Xavier girls volleyball team finished off an undefeated Bay Conference regular season with a 3-0 sweep of Shawano on Tuesday night at Shawano High School.

The Hawks won 25-15, 25-18, 25-16, to move to 7-0 in the Bay and 36-3 overall this season.

Mariah Potter had 37 assists and three service aces, Annika Kowalski had 12 kills and 12 digs, and Belle Shea had 13 digs and two aces for Xavier.

Halle Vande Hey added seven kills and five digs, Madison Daley had eight kills, two blocks and two aces, and Mattea Kiepert had six kills and two blocks as well for the Hawks.

Xavier will look to wrap up the Bay Conference championship when it takes part in the Bay Conference Tournament on Saturday at Green Bay East. Play begins at 9 a.m.

WIAA postseason pairings will be finalized Wednesday. Xavier is the defending Division 2 state champion.
