Xavier volleyball sweeps Seymour to stay perfect in Bay Conference

APPLETON – The Xavier volleyball team kept its perfect Bay Conference record intact with a 3-0 sweep of Seymour on Tuesday night at Xavier High School.

Xavier won 25-14, 25-15, 25-11, to improve to 5-0 in the Bay Conference and remain in a first-place tie with Shawano. The Hawks host New London on Thursday and will play at Shawano next Tuesday, Oct. 10, in the final match of the conference season. Seymour’s loss is its first in the Bay this season (4-1).

Madison Daley had 12 kills, Mariah Potter had 30 assists and seven digs, and Liv Neumann added 11 kills for the Hawks.

Belle Shea had a team-best 19 digs, Halle Vande Hey chipped in eight kills and six digs, and Annika Kowalski had seven digs and five kills as well for Xavier.
