For the second year in a row, Xavier High School has earned a WSN (Wisconsin Sports Network) Cup.

Since 2007-08, the WSN Cup is an award that honors schools that provide and achieve success in WIAA sponsored sports.

The award totals points earned in both boys and girls sports. All current WIAA sponsored sports are included as part of the scoring for the award.

Starting in 2008-09 schools will be placed in three divisions. The Large School Division is for schools with enrollment over 1,000. Medium Schools are classified as 500 to 1,000, and Small School division is below 500 total students.

Points are awarded for finishes in the state tournament of every sport. Generally, the top 32 teams in each sport are awarded points. If less than 32 teams participate in a non-bracket sport state meet then those are the only schools that are awarded points. For Co-op teams the total points are divided equally between the co-op schools.

Xavier won the Small Division WSN Cup for the second year in a row.

In the fall, Xavier won the WIAA Division 2 girls volleyball and Division 2 state cross country championships, while the football team reached Level 3 of the Division 4 playoffs, the girls golf team placed fourth at the state meet, the girls tennis team was the Division 2 state team runner-up, and the boys soccer team reached the Division 4 sectional final.

The Xavier girls basketball team finished as the Division 2 state tournament runner-up and the boys basketball team reached sectionals during the winter season, and in the spring the girls track team placed sixth in the Division 2 standings, and the boys tennis team and baseball team reached sectionals.

The other WSN Cup winners were Hartland Arrowhead in Large Schools Division and Green Bay Notre Dame in the Medium Schools Division.
