Xavier girls volleyball wins at West De Pere, moves into sole possession of first in Bay Conference

DE PERE – The Xavier girls volleyball team took over sole possession of first place in the Bay Conference with a huge 3-1 win over West De Pere in a battle of undefeated squads Thursday night at West De Pere High School.

The Hawks won 25-22, 25-20, 23- 25, 25-21, to improve to 5-0 in the Bay Conference, while West De Pere drops to 4-1.

Xavier setter Sydney Neilitz had 51 assists, with Madison Daley collecting 21 kills and Ali Tylinski chipped in 17 in the win.

Daley added 22 digs, Grace Hackl had 18 digs, Elle Downs contributed 10 kills and Rose Kendall had nine kills as the Xavier offense was cooking.

Xavier returns to action next Thursday, Oct. 10, at Green Bay West.
