Xavier girls volleyball slams Menasha

MENASHA – The Xavier girls volleyball team continued its early-season dominance with a 3-0 sweep of Menasha on Thursday night at Menasha High School.

The Hawks won 25-14, 25-10, 25-11.

Xavier is now 2-0 in the Bay Conference, while Menasha drops to 0-2.

Mariah Potter had 24 assists and three service aces, Halle Vande Hey had 12 kills and eight digs, and Jena Bunks had a team-high 18 digs for Xavier.

Olivia Neumann and Madison Daley each chipped in six kills, and Mattea Kiepert had four kills in the win for the Hawks.

Xavier will have a week off before hosting Green Bay West for a Bay Conference match on Thursday, Sept. 21.
