Xavier girls volleyball finishes 3-2 at Kettle Moraine Lutheran Invite

JACKSON – The Xavier girls volleyball team finished 3-2 at the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Classic on Saturday.

Xavier defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 25-12, 25-20, Kettle Moraine Lutheran 10-25, 25-17, 15-8, and Lakeside Lutheran 28-26, 25-22. The Hawks lost to Waunakee 25-23, 23-25, 15-10, and Pewaukee 25-22, 25-15.

Setter Sydney Neilitz had 105 assists and nine service aces, Madison Daley put up a team-best 50 kills along with nine aces, and Grace Hackl led the defense with 58 digs for the Hawks.

Ali Tylinski added 32 kills, Rose Kendall had 17 kills, Lexi Allen chipped in 12 kills, and Lily Renz and Jena Bunks both had five aces in Xavier’s five matches.

Xavier is back in action Thursday at home against Seymour for a Bay Conference match.
