Xavier girls volleyball finishes 2-2, including win over Appleton North, at DSHA Invitational

MILWAUKEE – The Xavier and Appleton North girls volleyball teams competed at the Divine Savior Holy Angels Invitational on Saturday.
Xavier finished 2-2, which included a 2-1 win over Appleton North by scores of 23-25, 25-23, 15-12.
The Hawks lost to Hartland Arrowhead 25-15, 25-15, and Pewaukee 27-25, 22-25, 15-10, and also defeated Oak Creek 25-20, 25-18.
Appleton North also suffered a 2-0 loss to Divine Savior Holy Angels, and defeated Kettle Moraine Lutheran.
Setter Sydney Neilitz finished with 90 assists and added 12 digs, Madison Daley had 27 kills, 17 digs and six service aces, Rose Kendall added 23 kills, and Grace Hackl had a team-best 28 digs in the four matches for Xavier.
Ali Tylinski chipped in 19 kills and 10 digs, Lexi Allen had 14 kills, and Lily Renz had six aces for the Hawks.
Appleton North statistical leaders were not reported.
Xavier will look to finish off an undefeated Bay Conference championship at home against New London on Tuesday.
Appleton North will wrap up its regular season Thursday at Neenah.
