Xavier girls soccer smashes Roncalli in WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal

APPLETON – Sydney Neilitz and Kylee Standish each had hat tricks as the No. 3 seed Xavier girls soccer team took care of business, downing No. 14 Manitowoc Roncalli 11-1 in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal Thursday at Xavier High School.

Sydni Wanty had two goals and two assists, and Katherine Jannette, Keira Peterson and Eva Stankewicz each added goals for the Hawks.

Roncalli finishes its season with a 5-12-1 record.

Xavier (9-5-5) will host No. 6 seed Wrightstown (7-5-6) for a D-4 regional final on Saturday at 4 p.m.
