Xavier girls golf takes fourth at seventh Bay Conference meet

DE PERE – The Xavier girls golf team placed fourth for the second-straight meet at the seventh leg of the Bay Conference Girls Golf Tournament on Thursday at Mid Vallee Golf Course.

Shawano won with a 178 thanks to meet medalist’s Sophia Eggert’s 39, with Seymour second with a 190. Xavier was fourth with a 210.

Caroline Vanden Heuvel had another top-10 individual finish for Xavier, shooting a 48 to tie for ninth.

Sarah Rettler added a 52, Meredith Leege had a 54, Josie Egan shot 56, and Gianna Heid had a 60 as well for the Hawks.

Xavier will host the eighth Bay Conference meet on Tuesday at Ridgeway Country Club in Neenah.
