Xavier girls basketball slams Green Bay East

APPLETON – The Xavier girls basketball team used a huge first half and put up a season-high in points in a dominating 84-32 Bay Conference win over Green Bay East on Friday night at the Torchy Clark Gymnasium at Xavier High School.

The Hawks rolled out to a 48-13 lead by halftime and nearly doubled up East in the second half to finish off the victory.

Ten different Xavier players scored, four in double figures. Joy Krull led the way with 15 points and Alexandra Tylinski had 13 for the Hawks (4-5, 3-1 Bay Conference).

Jamaya Mariner had 19 points for Green Bay East (3-5, 0-4 Bay Conference).

Xavier hosts Seymour for a Bay Conference matchup Tuesday at 7 p.m.
