Xavier girls basketball routs Wrightstown for fifth win in a row

APPLETON – The Xavier girls basketball extended its winning streak to five with a resounding 77-39 nonconference win over Wrightstown on Tuesday at Xavier High School.
The Hawks raced out to a 44-26 lead by halftime and held Wrightstown (2-4) to just 13 points in the second half to finish off the victory.
Elle Krull scored 19 points and Moly Martine added 15 points for Xavier, which is now 7-2.
Xavier will play a Bay Conference game at West De Pere on Friday at 7 p.m.
