Xavier girls basketball rips Seymour in Bay Conference opener

SEYMOUR – The Xavier girls basketball team opened its Bay Conference season with a 57-30 win over Seymour on Friday night at Seymour High School.
The Hawks dominated the first half on both ends, running out to a 30-9 lead, and cruised from there.
Halle Vande Hey had 12 points to lead Xavier, which saw nine different players find the scoring column. Joy Krull and Molly Martine each added nine in the win.
Xavier (4-2 overall) hosts Green Bay Southwest for a nonconference game Monday at 7 p.m.
