Xavier girls basketball pulls out close win over Bonduel

APPLETON – Carsyn Stempa scored 12 points to lead the Xavier girls basketball team to a 44-37 nonconference win over Bonduel on Tuesday night at Xavier High School.
Nine different Hawks scored in the win as they improve to 3-2 this season.
The game was tight throughout, with Xavier holding a two-point lead at halftime and maintaining it to the end to win by seven.
Halle Vande Hey and Molly Martine each chipped in six points for the Hawks.
Xavier opens its Bay Conference schedule at Seymour on Friday.
