Xavier finishes second at fourth Bay Conference Boys Golf Meet

SHAWANO – Jonah Gentry tied for second with a 38 and helped Xavier to a second-place finish at the fourth Bay Conference Boys Golf Tournament meet on Tuesday at Shawano Lake Golf Course.

West De Pere won the meet with a score of 154, two shots better than Xavier. New London took third with a 159.

Mason Haupt of West De Pere shot a 3-under par 33 to lead West De Pere and win meet medalist honors.

Kyle Watry and Jack Schmidtke finished in a four-way tie for fourth with 39s, Grant Neumann tied for eighth with a 40 and Jon Bertram shot a 42 as well for Xavier.

Xavier will compete at the MACC Fund Invitational on Saturday at LaBelle Golf Club in Oconomowoc.
