Xavier earns five first-team picks on 2023 All-Bay Conference Boys Soccer Team

Bay Conference co-champion Xavier had nine players, including five first-team selections, to the 2023 All-Bay Conference Boys Soccer Team.

Sophomore defender Wyatt Rouamba was named the Bay Conference Defensive Player of the Year and among the first-team selections for Xavier.

Junior goalkeeper Martin Vargas, senior forward Max Mirhashemi, and junior midfielders Noah Schulist and Noah Arndt were also first-team picks for the Hawks, who tied West De Pere for the Bay Conference title at 9-1 and ended up 21-4 overall after reaching the WIAA Division 4 sectional finals.

Xavier senior forward Richard Makope was a second-team pick, and three Hawks were honorable mention – sophomore midfielder Nickolas Vajda, senior forward Nana Kofi P. Norman, and senior defender Michael Kippenhan.

West De Pere midfielder Tyler Kowalczyk was named the Bay Conference Player of the Year and Green Bay East forward Kevin Grijavla was picked as the Offensive Player of the Year.
