Xavier boys tennis defeats University School of Milwaukee

GLENDALE – The Xavier boys tennis team opened play at the University School of Milwaukee Invitational on Friday with a dual meet win over the host team 6-1 at the Elite Fitness Center.
The Hawks swept the four singles matches, winning three in straight sets. No. 1 player Joshua Horack needed a tiebreaker to win his match for Xavier of Oliver Boyd 6-2, 4-6, 10-5.
The tournament continues at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
