Xavier boys soccer routs Seymour

SEYMOUR – Seven different players scored for the Xavier boys soccer team in a 7-1 road win at Seymour on Tuesday in Bay Conference action.

Xavier is now 11-4-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the Bay Conference, remaining three points behind first-place West De Pere (7-0 Bay). Seymour falls to 6-7-2 and 3-4 in conference play.

Ben Kaufman, Mauricio Laguna-Ramirez, Wyatt Rouamba, Owen McGreevey and Maximilano Gonzalez scored in the first half for the Hawks, who took a 5-1 lead into halftime.

Xavier tacked on two more goals in the second half from Nick Vajda and Kellen Tamlyn.

Xavier will host Winneconne for a nonconference game Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
