Xavier boys soccer pummels Menasha to stay undefeated in Bay Conference

APPLETON – The Xavier boys soccer team inched closer to a Bay Conference title with a 9-1 win over Menasha on Tuesday night at Xavier High School.

Richard Makope and Max Mirhashemi each had hat tricks, Nana Kofi Norman added a pair of goals and an assist, and Wyatt Rouamba scored for the Hawks, who are now 8-0 in the Bay Conference and 16-2 overall. Menasha falls to 6-9 and 4-4 in the Bay.

Noah Schulist and Noah Arndt each had two assists, and Paul Mastorides and Nikolas Vajda also had assists in the win for the Hawks.

Evan Schultz had four saves in goal for Xavier.

Xavier plays at Green Bay East in another Bay Conference match on Thursday at 7 p.m. at City Stadium.
