Xavier boys golf takes 24th place at MACC Fund Invitational

OCONOMOWOC – The Xavier boys golf team competed at the 28-team MACC Fund Boys Golf Invitational on Saturday at Lac La Belle Golf Club, placing 24th with a score of 341.
Waunakee won the team title with a 291, six shots in front of Oconomowoc. Germantown and Waukesha North tied for third with 298s.
Waunakee’s Peyton Albers shot a 68 to win medalist honors, finishing one shot ahead of teammate K.C. Nickel and Hartford’s Owen Kuepper.
Jon Bertram shot an 83, Kyle Watry had an 84, and Grant Neumann and Jonah Gentry both shot 87 for Xavier.
Xavier will compete at the Waukesha West Invitational on Monday at The Legends at Merrill Hills.
