Xavier boys basketball slams Green Bay East to stay undefeated in Bay Conference

GREEN BAY – The Xavier boys basketball team dominated the first half, rolling out to a 36-point lead, and cruised to a 67-33 win over Green Bay East in a Bay Conference game Friday night at Green Bay East High School.

The Hawks erupted, jumping out to a 49-13 lead by halftime, and were able to finish off the big win to stay undefeated in the Bay Conference at 3-0 and move to 7-3 overall.

Nine different Xavier players scored in the victory, with Luke Oelhafen leading the way with 19 points. Kyler Bleck added 12 points and Logan Ramczyk chipped in 10 for the Hawks.

Quincy Shields topped Green Bay East (0-8, 0-4 Bay Conference) with 11 points.

Xavier will jump right back into action Saturday afternoon with a home nonconference game against Campbellsport at 1 p.m.
