Xavier boys basketball pulls past Menasha behind Oelhafen’s 23 points

APPLETON – Luke Oelhafen had a monster double-double, finishing with 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Xavier boys basketball team to a hard-fought 68-62 win over Menasha in a Bay Conference game Friday night at the Torchy Clark Gymnasium at Xavier High School.
After a first half that finished tied at 37, the Hawks (4-2, 2-0 Bay Conference) outscored Menasha by six points in the second half to pull away.
Oelhafen made all eight of his free throw attempts and nailed three 3-pointers for Xavier.
Logan Ramczyk added 20 points for the Hawks.
Trayveon Lockridge topped Menasha (4-3, 2-1 Bay Conference) with 14 points.
Xavier will travel to Milwaukee Bradley Tech to take on Milwaukee North at the Win Parkinson Invite on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
