Xavier boys basketball improves to 9-0 with 14-point win over Hartford at WBY Shootout

MEQUON – The Xavier boys basketball team continued its stellar offensive play with a 92-78 nonconference win over Hartford on Thursday at the Rick Majerus Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout at Concordia University.
Tyler Brightman poured in a game-high 26 points for the Hawks, who had five players score in double figures as they improve to 9-0 this season.
Xavier scored 46 points in each half to win the fast-paced contest.
Reid Hietpas and Sam Pfefferle each added 13 points, Logan Ramczyk chipped in 12 and Luke Oelhafen had 10 as well for the Hawks.
Xavier finishes up play at the WBY Shootout against Milwaukee Pius XI Catholic (5-4) at 3:15 p.m.
