Xavier boys basketball hits century mark in rout of Green Bay West

APPLETON – The Xavier boys basketball team kept its perfect record intact with a 103-48 rout of Green Bay West in a Bay Conference game Thursday night at Xavier High School.
Thirteen of the 14 Xavier players that saw action scored and combined to shoot 63 percent (38-for-60) from the field and 15-for-27 from 3-point range in the win.
Logan Ramczyk had 15 points, Tyler Brightman added 14 and Jonah Gentry chipped in 11 for the Hawks, who are now 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the Bay Conference. Ramczyk and Gentry each made three 3-pointers.
Sam Pfefferle, Reid Hietpas and Luke Oelhafen all added 10 points for Xavier.
Sam Hemery topped Green Bay West (3-5, 1-3 Bay) with 15 points.
Xavier will compete at the Rick Majerus Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout next week at Concordia University in Mequon. The Hawks will take on Hartford at 9:15 p.m. Dec. 29 and Milwaukee Pius XI Catholic at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 29.
