Xavier boys basketball drills 12 3s, posts road win at Shawano

SHAWANO – Luke Oelhafen had a massive double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Xavier boys basketball team to a 78-61 win over Shawano in a Bay Conference game Friday night at Shawano High School.

Xavier turned a two-point halftime lead into a double-digit win with a dominant second half, and are now 12-4 overall and 6-1 in the Bay Conference after posting its third-straight win.

Oelhafen was 4-for-6 from 3-point range, and Logan Ramczyk was 4-for-7 from deep and had 22 points for Xavier.

Logan Sipple led Shawano (2-11, 1-6 Bay Conference) with 18 points.

Xavier will host Mosinee for a nonconference game Tuesday, the first of four-straight home games.
