Xavier boys basketball crushes Green Bay East

GREEN BAY – Tyler Brightman had a huge double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Xavier boys basketball team to an 89-53 rout of Green Bay East in a Bay Conference game Friday night at East High School.

A total of 13 Xavier players scored in the win as the Hawks improve to 20-2 overall and remain perfect at 13-0 in the Bay Conference.

Hayden Quimby added 10 points in the win for the Hawks.

Xavier will play a nonconference game at West Bend West on Tuesday before wrapping up its Bay Conference season at home against Shawano on Thursday.

Quincy Shields led Green Bay East (0-23, 0-13 Bay Conference) with 21 points.

Seedings for the WIAA playoffs, which begin on Feb. 27, will be announced on Sunday.
