Xavier baseball shuts out New London for second-straight day

NEW LONDON – The Xavier baseball team shutout New London for the second time in as many days as Parker Bleck spun a gem for the Hawks in a 4-0 victory Tuesday at Hatten Park.
Bleck struck out eight, walked just one and gave up only two hits in a complete-game effort for Xavier (11-9, 8-8 Bay Conference).
Tyler Brightman had two hits and an RBI, and Mattew Potter knocked out two singles in the win for the Hawks, who also shutout New London 7-0 at home on Monday.
Xavier will host Green Bay East/West on Thursday at Don Hawkins Field at American Legion Post 38 on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
