Waupun scores in final seconds to defeat Fox Cities Stars boys hockey

NEENAH – Camden Flegner knocked in the game-winner with four seconds remaining to give Waupun a 5-4 win over the Fox Cities Stars in a Badgerland Conference boys hockey game Tuesday at the Tri-County Ice Arena.

Aiden Eckes and Parker Janssen each scored in the first period to give the Stars a 2-1 lead before Waupun had three-straight goals in the second period to take the lead.

The Stars tied the game on goals from Ryan Ostermann and Cale Adamovich late in the second period.

The score remained 4-4 until the final seconds when Waupun (9-7, 2-3 Badgerland) hit the game-winning goal.

Fox Cities (6-9, 2-4 Badgerland) will play a nonconference game at Ashwaubenon on Saturday.
