Valley Swim Team wins nine events, tops Appleton North/East in FVA boys swimming dual meet

APPLETON – The Valley Swim Team, a co-op of swimmers and divers from Appleton West, Kimberly, Kaukauna and Hortonville high school, won nine of the 12 events and defeated Appleton North/East 100-80 in the Fox Valley Association dual meet season-finale on Tuesday at Appleton West High School.
Valley Swim Team finishes the FVA dual meet season at 4-1 and Appleton North/East ends up 2-3.
Hayden Hollenbeck and Ethan Pasholk were double-winner in individual events for the Valley Swim Team. Hollenbeck won the 100-meter freestyle in 1:02.87 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.82, and Pasholk was first in the 200 freestyle in 2:08.16 and the 200 individual medley in 2:19.59.
Both teams will compete at the Madison West Diving Invitational on Saturday, while the Valley Swim Team will be at the McFarland Invitational on Friday and the Middleton Invite on Saturday.
The Fox Valley Association Meet is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8, at Appleton North.
