Shawano rallies late to top Xavier baseball

APPLETON – Shawano poured on nine runs over the final two innings to best Xavier 15-10 in a Bay Conference baseball game Friday night at Don Hawkins Field.

Xavier led 8-5 after four innings but couldn’t stop Shawano late as it lost for the fourth-straight time to open the 2025 season and for the second day in a row to Shawano.

Reed Flick and Matthew Potter each had three hits and two RBI in the loss for Xavier.

Xavier is back in action Tuesday at West De Pere.
