Seymour shuts out Xavier softball

SEYMOUR – The Seymour softball team kept its perfect Bay Conference record intact with a 6-0 win over Xavier on Tuesday at Seymour High School.

The Hawks (3-6, 1-4 Bay) was held to five hits and couldn’t scratch across a run against Elsa Dvoracek. The Seymour pitcher finished with six strikeouts and just one walk while the Thunder (8-5, 5-0 Bay) did not commit an error.

Addison Hervey struck out eight in 4 1/3 innings of relief for Xavier.

Xavier hosts Menasha for another Bay Conference game on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
