Pulaski shuts out Appleton West softball in WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal

PULASKI – The Appleton West softball team had its season come to an end, falling to Pulaski 15-0 in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal Tuesday at Betty VanLannen Field at Pulaski High School.
No. 4 seed Pulaski (19-5) scored seven times in both the second and third innings to finish off the game after three due to the 15-run rule. The Raiders will host No. 5 seed De Pere (19-8) for a regional final on Thursday at 5 p.m.
Appleton West, which was held without a hit, ends its season with a 2-21 record.
Kianna Altendorf and Paige Abendroth both homered for Pulaski.
