Pulaski powers past Appleton West football

APPLETON – Pulaski proved unstoppable during Friday’s Fox River Classic Conference North Division football game at Appleton West.

The Red Raiders piled up 575 rushing yards, averaging 12.5 yards per carry, as they powered past Appleton West 77-38 at West High School.

Four Pulaski rushers totaled 94 yards or more, led by Sawyer Goodness, who had 176 yards on just six carries and three touchdowns.

Pulaski scored five touchdowns in the second quarter alone, pulling out to a 57-30 lead by halftime.

Appleton West quarterback Conner Navis finished with 308 yards passing and four touchdowns, including two long ones to Bennett Nelson of 62 and 70 yards in the opening quarter.

Nelson caught four balls for 161 yards, and Parrion Peace finished with six catches for 66 yards and a score for the Terrors (3-4, 2-3 FRCC North).

Appleton West will play at De Pere on Friday, Oct. 11.
