Neenah roughs up Appleton West baseball

NEENAH – Neenah pitcher A.J. Price held Appleton West to just one hit and the Rockets cruised to a 15-1 win in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Friday at Neenah High School.
Price struck out nine in the five-inning complete game, and also went 3-for-4 and scored three times for the Rockets (10-7, 8-5 FVA).
Neenah led 5-1 after three innings before a 10-run fourth effectively ended it.
Riker Blahnik had Appleton West’s lone hit as the Terrors drop to 5-11 overall and 5-7 in conference play.
Appleton West will host Hortonville on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.
