Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha shuts out Appleton United boys hockey

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys hockey team was shutout by Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha 6-0 in a Badgerland Conference game Tuesday at the Community First Champion Center.
Ty Laabs scored twice and added an assist for the Rockets, who are now 5-2 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the Badgerland Conference.
Appleton (0-5, 0-3 Badgerland) was outshot 34-11, with goalie Brandon Tobak saving 28 shots in the loss.
Appleton United hosts the Waukesha Wings at the Appleton Family Ice Center on Friday at 6:20 p.m.
