Neenah bests Appleton North wrestling in FVA dual

APPLETON – Neenah won the first five matches, two by pin, to take control and went on to a 51-21 win over Appleton North in a Fox Valley Association wrestling dual Thursday night at North High School.

Appleton North won four of the 14 matches, three by pin.

Jake Stoffel (190 pounds) earned a pin in just 47 seconds, and Brock Arndt (285) and Jackson Esser (120) also pinned their opponents to pick up wins for the Lightning.

Appleton North’s other win came from Cameron Chudacoff at 215 points, as he won 5-1.

Appleton North will compete at the Battle of the Bay Tournament on Saturday at Bay Port High School in Suamico.
