Mosinee outlasts Xavier boys basketball in overtime

APPLETON – Mosinee outdueled Xavier by a bucket in overtime to win 68-66 in a nonconference boys basketball game Tuesday night at Xavier High School.
The game was tied at 64-64 after regulation and Mosinee outscored the Hawks 4-2 in the extra four-minute period to earn the hard-fought win. Both teams are now 12-5 this season.
Logan Ramczyk continued his stellar play of late, finishing with 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Hawks. Luke Oelhafen added four 3-pointers and 14 points, and Cole Hietpas chipped in 13 points for Xavier.
Treve Stoffel had 19 points and Brayden Reinke 18 for Mosinee.
Xavier will host Green Bay West for a Bay Conference game on Friday, the first of three-straight conference home games on its schedule.
