Menasha outlasts Xavier baseball

MENASHA – Ian Dohms doubled and homered, driving in three, to lead Menasha to a 6-4 win over Xavier in a Bay Conference baseball game Friday at Koslo Park.
Anthony Weyers had two hits and two RBI, and Luke Krull added two hits and a RBI for Xavier, which falls to 9-9 overall and 6-8 in the Bay Conference.
Tyler Brightman threw a complete game for the Hawks, striking out two, and allowing five hits and four walks.
With the win, Menasha maintains a one-game lead over Seymour for first place in the Bay Conference at 11-4.
Xavier is back in action Monday at home against New London. The game at Don Hawkins Field starts at 6:30 p.m.
