Little Chute tops Fox Valley Lutheran baseball to complete NEC sweep

LITTLE CHUTE – Little Chute completed a two-game North Eastern Conference baseball sweep of Fox Valley Lutheran, defeating the Foxes 6-2 on Tuesday at Little Chute High School.
The Mustangs scored single runs in the three-straight innings and put the game away with a three-run sixth inning.
Fox Valley Lutheran had eight hits, but managed only two runs, coming in the fourth and sixth innings.
Ben Beyer had two hits and an RBI in the loss for the Foxes.
Both teams are now 2-2 overall and in the NEC.
Fox Valley Lutheran will play a nonconference game at Xavier on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Don Hawkins Field.
