Larson scores in OT to lift Appleton United boys lacrosse past Wausau

APPLETON – Landon Larson scored in overtime to give the Appleton United boys lacrosse team a thrilling 9-8 win over the Wausau Wild on Monday night at Appleton East High School.
Ryder Hill scored three goals, with Larson, Anton Downs, Trevin Schultz and Jaylen Kempfer each scoring twice in the win for Appleton (5-3).
Colin Mancl picked up the win in goal for the United.
Appleton also won the JV game, 9-2.
Appleton will have some time off before playing at Kimberly on Tuesday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. at JRG Middle School.
