Kimberly wins FVA boys golf meet over Appleton North

SHERWOOD – Aiden Cudney finished with an eagle and birdie to earn medalist honors with a 37 and led Kimberly to a 160-186 win over Appleton North in a Fox Valley Association boys golf dual meet Tuesday at High Cliff Golf Course.

Appleton North’s Jon Huenink finished in a four-way tie for second with a 41 as Kimberly’s Chance Rill, Peter Van Grinsven and Tyler Steeno also shot 41, which proved pivotal for the Papermakers (5-0 FVA).

Drew Rudolf added a 43 and Dax Macklin had a 46 for Appleton North (2-3 FVA).

Appleton North will compete at the Manitowoc Invitational at Branch River Golf Club on Thursday.
