Kimberly sends Appleton West boys basketball to seventh-straight loss

KIMBERLY – Five Kimberly players scored in double figures as the Papermakers defeated Appleton West 86-39 in a Fox Valley Association boys basketball game Tuesday night at Kimberly High School.

Kimberly rolled out to a 52-17 lead by halftime and finished off the win from there, improve to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the FVA.

Ayden Lom scored 13 points and Thomas Meyers added 12 for Kimberly.

Lucas Downs made five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 17 points for Appleton West, which drops to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in the conference

Appleton West hosts Fond du Lac on Friday.
