Kaukauna keeps long winning streak alive with win over Appleton East

APPLETON – The Kaukauna softball team extended its unbelievable winning streak to 101 straight with a 16-2 victory over Appleton East in a Fox Valley Association matchup Tuesday at East High School.
Karly Meredith and Brenna Mathies combined on a three-hitter for Kaukauna, which improves to 20-0 overall and 17-0 in the FVA.
Appleton East scored its two runs in the fourth inning on an RBI single by Grace Fecteau and a wild pitch.
Appleton East will host Kimberly on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. before finishing its regular season at Appleton North on Thursday.
