Kaukauna downs Appleton East girls golf

APPLETON – Appleton East had a team-best score for the season but came up short to undefeated Kaukauna, falling 159-187 in a Fox Valley Association girls golf dual meet Tuesday at Reid Golf Course.

Kaukauna set a new program record with its score of 159 and is now 7-0 in FVA matches this season.

Jaelyn Feller had a 38 to earn medalist honors and lead Appleton East. Ella Steger added a 46, Caydence Snyder had a 48, Addie Baier shot a 55 and Alex Simon had a 57 as well for the Patriots.

McKenna Lowe, Nora Berken and Grace Schomin all shot 39s to tie for second to lead the Ghosts.

Appleton East plays another FVA match Thursday against Appleton West at Winagamie Golf Course.
