Hot-shooting Neenah downs Appleton West girls basketball

APPLETON – Neenah knocked down 10 3-pointers and cruised to a 74-25 win over Appleton West in a Fox Valley Association girls basketball game Monday night at Appleton West High School.
Ellie Buss made six of Neenah’s 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 22 points as the Rockets improve to 15-7 overall and 12-4 in the FVA.
Appleton West was held to eight made field goals and was just 7-for-19 at the free throw line, falling to 1-21 and 0-16 in the FVA. Addyson Knoebel had eight points to top the Terrors.
Appleton West will play at Appleton East as part of a girls-boys doubleheader on Friday. The girls game starts at 6 p.m. with the boys to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.
