Hortonville hands Appleton West boys golf first FVA loss

NEENAH – Appleton West’s Collin Evers shot a meet-best 38 but the Terrors suffered their first Fox Valley Association boys golf loss of the season, falling to Hortonville 159-173 on Thursday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Wesley Barker and Dylan Dobratz both shot 39 and Carter Rohde added a 40 for the Polar Bears, who are now 3-0 in FVA duals this season.

Austin Arizola had a 44, Thomas Wendt shot 45 and Luc Downs had a 46 for the Terrors (2-1 FVA).

Appleton West will compete with the other four Appleton high school teams at the City Meet on Monday at North Shore Golf Club.
