Hortonville defeats Appleton East girls golf as Feller wins medalist honors

APPLETON – Appleton East’s Jaelyn Feller shot a 41 to win individual honors, but the Patriots fell shot in the team chase, losing a Fox Valley Association dual meet to Hortonville 189-199 on Monday at Reid Golf Course.

Feller held off Hortonville’s Maci McNichols by one shot to win meet medalist. Alex Simon placed third with a 46, Addie Baier had a 54, Kahlie Munter shot 58 and Hayley Ponschock had a 62 as well for Appleton East (2-1 FVA).

Appleton East will be back in action Thursday at Westhaven Golf Course in Oshkosh against Oshkosh North.
